Don’t be afraid of the dark frame. It’s true to the story and serves the adventure through terror.
I mean, let’s not replicate the latest Batman - but the quality and size of the average TV can now handle incredibly dark images and audiences have become impressively tolerant and literate since the aesthetics of cinema & television have imploded. Honor & respect the darkness as it was then.
